Spencer Koch was named Vice President and General Manager of KTVI in April 1995. One of Koch’s first duties was KTVI’s successful switch from the ABC network to the FOX Broadcasting Network. Koch’s demonstrated commitment to the St. Louis community has placed the station at the forefront of several noteworthy efforts. He serves on the boards of the Missouri Broadcasters’ Association, the St. Louis/Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and Heat Up St. Louis (providing home heating and cooling assistance to low-income families).
Prior to joining FOX 2, Koch was Station Manager and Vice President of Sales for WJBK in Detroit. Koch also served as General Sales Manager for WJW-TV in Cleveland and as National Sales Manager for WAGA-TV in Atlanta. Koch earned a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emory University in Atlanta. A native New Yorker, Koch and his wife Laura have two children. He enjoys reading, music, golf, and playing the piano.
