Emmy-nominated anchor, Domonique Benn anchors KSLA News 12 at 5, 6, and 10 PM in Shreveport, LA, Monday through Friday.

Domonique has worked in newsrooms in Mississippi, Georgia, and Virginia. The University of Florida graduate has a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications-News and a minor in English with a concentration in African American Literature. Her investigative reports have brought about change and the implementation of new policies and procedures. Domonique is a recipient of two prestigious Edward R. Murrow Awards. She was named Anchor of the Year by the Virginia Associated Press. Domonique was also featured in Ebony magazine as one of the 30 talented young adults on the rise. Domonique has been instrumental in re-connecting Louisiana journalists with NATAS Mid-America.

Domonique is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the National Association of Black Journalists.
