NATAS is a professional service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and related media and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry, best known for the coveted Emmy® Award.
NATAS Mid-America Foundation is pleased to offer a Continuing Education Opportunity Grant (CEOG) for members who have worked in broadcast television for at least 10 years. Through the generosity of Carol Jackson, a former production technician, a $1500 annual grant has been established in the name of the late George F. Davis of KETC/Nine PBS.
The grant is awarded to an individual who needs continuing education/training/skill enhancement to advance their career in the broadcast business. Applicants must submit materials by the EMMY® deadline. Winner will be awarded the Grant at the annual EMMY® Gala. Training must take place within the year and verification provided.
1. Cover letter explaining your current employment situation; where you are in your professional career and what training or education is needed to advance. Please include where and when you intend to acquire that.
2. Agree to permit NATAS Mid-America to promote your achievements by providing your name and likeness.
3. Agree to provide written proof of completion of the education training.
4. Application deadline is June 30, 2024.
