SCHOLARSHIPS

NATAS Mid-America is proud to offer the “WALTER CRONKITE SCHOLARSHIP” to qualified high school seniors and college undergraduates in the NATAS Mid-America region pursuing a career in the media industry. 

 

Scholarships range from $1000 to $3000 each. These are merit-based scholarships given to students who demonstrate the potential to join the profession and contribute to its future.

 

High School seniors who have taken media related course work at their schools and have been accepted at a college as a Media major are eligible to apply.  In addition, college undergraduates currently pursuing Media majors are also eligible for scholarships.

 

Applicants do not need to be members of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to receive a scholarship.

 

To apply for a NATAS Mid-America scholarship, simply complete the on-line application.

Television majors (HS Seniors and College undergraduates) in the Mid-America region are invited to apply for the Walter Cronkite Scholarships.

SCHOLARSHIP MATERIALS
1. Attach an ESSAY
No longer than 500 words, outlining your career goals.
2. Attach a RESUME
It should be a single-page resume that includes significant curricular and extracurricular work in media (internships, media jobs, volunteer work at media outlets), as well as education and work history including dates, company, and responsibilities.

Total time of all videos submitted should not exceed 15 minutes. Please copy and paste links in each box.
