Suzi Schrappen began her television career in 1984 in Promotion at KPLR-TV. Her gift for marketing was soon noticed by management, and she quickly rose through the ranks until she became Director of Promotion in 1992. By achieving key performance objectives, and approaching every aspect of her job with creative energy, Suzi’s determination and leadership inspired others around her. Her tireless work ethic has earned her many professional accolades including a “Broadcasting & Cable” award, several Telly and INTV awards, Emmy nominations and an international Promax “Brand Builder” award.

In March 2010,  Suzi was named Vice President, Creative Services of KTVI and KPLR, now responsible for planning, directing, controlling and coordinating the overall creative image, look, promotion and public relations for two powerful stations, their websites and mobile platforms. Suzi has served as a board member and/or officer of industry associations and is an active participant in community organizations such as The Backstoppers Inc., St. Patrick Center, The American Red Cross, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital just to name a few. In a career that currently spans over 26 years, she continues to be on the cutting edge in her field, and a well deserving recipient of the 2010 Silver Circle Award.
