Laine Baker

 Time on Board: ’15-’17

Laine Baker is the main anchor at KNWA News in Fayetteville, Arkansas and has been in broadcasting since 2005. “I love meeting other people in the business and learning from them. My other passion is great story telling. What better way to incorporate both of those things than by being a part of the Mid-America Board of Governors? I am so honored to be involved with this group!”

The Kansas City Star is where Laine started her career. She worked there Monday through Friday and then in Topeka at KSNT on weekends. After doing that for more than a year she decided to go into television news in Topeka full-time. That is where she met her husband, Adam. They were both offered jobs in Fayetteville, Arkansas and now happily call NWA their home with their daughter Zoey and two spoiled dogs, Jazzy and Ozzy.
