TERRANCE BLACK

2018 Walter Cronkite Scholarship

Terrance Black is studying Broadcasting-Production with a minor in Spanish. He hopes to get a job wherever the greatest opportunity lies in radio, film, or news; however, he considers freelancing a good backup. When he isn’t working as a peer mentor, he’s committing his time to the school newscast & radio station.

Terrance ultimately would like to direct. He began directing and producing in high school and has, since, enjoyed it. He worked a summer at WVON radio in Chicago as a intern at age 15. He got his first film internship in 2015, working on the set of a Spike Lee movie
