The Walter Cronkite and Creative Arts Scholarship supports students pursuing careers in broadcast journalism as well as creative television and media roles outside the newsroom. Eligible applicants include college undergraduates and high school seniors attending schools in the Mid-America region who have an interest in media studies and have been accepted to a college as a media, journalism, or mass communication major. A single application is used to consider students for both the Walter Cronkite Scholarship and the Creative Arts Scholarship.
